After the application is submitted, it is reviewed to confirm the information provided and to evaluate overall eligibility. This review often focuses on income and employment stability, rental history, and screening results, along with verifying that the application is complete. If approved, the next step is lease paperwork—usually sent electronically—followed by collection of required move-in funds such as the security deposit and first month’s rent (requirements vary by property). Once the lease is signed and move-in costs are paid, move-in details are coordinated, a walkthrough may be completed, and keys or access instructions are provided so you can settle into your new home.
